  I am a software developer and IT enthusiast based in Bucharest, Romania. I am experienced with a broad range of software tools and share my passion for technology in business. Nevertheless, I fool around and I'm a TV Series addict. I'm passionate about military airplanes and public speaking.
  Long term objective: continue to work on things that I truly enjoy and maybe help develop the new generation of Airplane Autopilot System.

  I was responsible with developing and maintaining multiple applications used in a cloud micro-service architecture. My task varied from implementing distributed ad-serving ad collection and selection, using as input both in-company data and integrations with external partners as well, to repairing legacy features. At the same time I was involved in estimating new projects, fixing production issues and improving the internal processes.
  
  Starting with Jan. 2019 I was promoted to Technical Lead and had to drink coffee, estimate proposed projects, drink coffee, plan the roadmap, drink coffee, design the ongoing projects and agree on integration points with other teams, drink coffee, coach colleagues, drink coffee twice just in case production starts acting up and it needs to be fixed ASAP.

  I led a team of 4 developers in developing a batch financial application along with other 2 distributed teams. My responsibilities included coordinating the local team and maintaining contact with the client in order to deliver high quality products. I have coordinated a team of 5 interns in developing a presentation website with CMS functionalities for an important Bucharest-based business park. I also organised a Graduates Program and was responsible for holding training sessions for it. Previously, I worked for an international, cloud based service provider with clients ranging from financial institutions to government agencies. My tasks included developing maven plugins, modifying existing ones, developing modules in Spring and securing them.
  
  Starting with Aug. 2014 I was also responsible with motivating, evaluating and agreeing on the development objectives for 4 direct reports as part of my additional role of People Manager. My responsibilities were to align the company objectives with the personal objectives of the direct reports in order to help them in their professional growth. I had to offer constant feedback on the progress done in order to ensure good motivation and best performances from the employees that I have managed.
